Delightful Nutella Puff Pastry Hearts for Sweet Moments

Ingredients
  

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry thawed
  • Nutella spread 1/2 cup
  • 1 egg for egg wash
  • Powdered sugar for dusting
  • Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Cut the pastry into heart shapes using a cookie cutter.
  4. Spread Nutella evenly on half of the cut-out shapes.
  5. Brush the edges of the filled hearts with egg wash.
  6. Place the remaining heart cutouts on top and seal the edges.
  7. Brush the tops with egg wash and cut slits for steam.
  8. Bake for 15–20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
