Ingredients
  

  • 2 cans 8 oz each refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat together softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, lemon juice, lemon zest, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough on a clean surface, separating it into triangles.
  4. Spoon a generous amount of the cream cheese mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Roll the dough from the wide end to the tip, tucking in the sides as you roll.
  6. Place the rolled crescent rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar.
