Delicious Honey Mustard Chicken with Cheddar Broccoli Pasta

Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 8 ounces pasta fusilli or rotini recommended
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix honey and Dijon mustard.
  3. Place chicken breasts in a baking dish and brush with the honey mustard mixture.
  4. Season the chicken with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes.
  6. While the chicken bakes, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  7. Add the pasta to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions.
  8. In the last few minutes of cooking, add the broccoli florets to the pasta.
  9. Drain the pasta and broccoli, then return to the pot.
  10. Add cheddar cheese to the pasta and mix until melted.
  11. Serve the honey mustard chicken alongside the cheddar broccoli pasta.
